She graduated with a BA from Duke University in Psychology and Economics and obtained her MBA from Boston University in Healthcare Administration while working for one of the first HMOs in New England. She spent several years working for payors in the NY and New Jersey area developing Medicaid Managed Care programs and was a COO of an inner city community hospital in Newark. After moving to Detroit, she worked overseeing a state-contracted medical home program for children covered under the CSHCS.  The family moved to Vail Colorado in 2009, where she oversaw the employed medical groups, several hospital departments and the creation of the MSO for Vail Health. This role allowed her to find her passion in medical group management and operations.  She moved to valley in 2011 and ran medical groups in Arizona for ten years before deciding to support independent providers through consulting.  Most recently, she has partnered her strategic consulting with commercial real estate advisement with CARR, a national healthcare commercial group, while working with non-profit healthcare companies as a board member.

As she adjusts to being a semi-empty nester she is looking to give back to the healthcare community as she has more time to devote to causes that she believes in utilizing her unique skill-set.
